Year 3

Introduction

Welcome to Year 3!

Year 3 is the youngest year group in KS2 and as such, we support the children with this transition and the many changes they experience, such as joining a House for the first time and starting swimming lessons.

Our curriculum is focused on consolidating what they have learned through Year 1 and Year 2 and moving them on to become confident independent readers and mathematicians as well as enhancing their knowledge and understanding across the subjects.

We continue to focus and develop the 5Rs and our motto of 'Everybody Matters at Chepping View'. We cover interesting topics such as The Stone Age and Magnets.
